Re: [cobalt-users] What cpu is in a cobalt raq4

I just sent a post earlier. I was thinking that cobalt may have simply
stuck in a new chip, added software, changed the label from an RAQ3 to an
RAQ4, and increased the price $1000+.

When you think about it, it makes sense. The RAQ3 uses a standard board.
You can upgrade the processor in the RAQ3, and add memory. So why redesign
a whole system - you make more profit just by sticking in a new chip and
software. This is not an unheard of marketing ploy!

If anyone knows the real hardware differences I would really like to know!!
As I have seen a few things when I changed from an RAQ3 to an RAQ4 that have
made me go hummmm also!!

Thank you,

Michael T. Ross
