I guess I should have stated that the reference to bestpage.com was an
example, and not intended to be the domain I was referring to. It wouldn't
matter if the example showed mydomain.com - the actual example as stated
below was originally bestdamnpage.com, I just took out the damn.
Of course a DNS Lookup would not show what the problem is. Every time I find
a missing entry, I add it back in, and it resolves as it should. The problem
is on the box itself and why random DNS entries are erased.
Take any domain and one or multiple DNS entries for www. mail. forum. *. are
erased on either the front end or on reverse lookup.
Again, an EXAMPLE would be:
myhosteddomain.com 216.115.245.147
mail.myhosteddomain.com 216.115.245.147
216.115.245.147/24 mail.myhosteddomain.com
216.115.245.147/24 www.myhosteddomain.com
Thanks again.

Certainly an unusual DNS record:
--- DNS lookup for "bestpage.com", please wait...

bestpage.com A 209.235.27.69

I don't see mail.bestpage.com as the MX record. Did you create an A record
for mail.bestpage.com 216.115.245.147 and then an MX record for
bestpage.com --> mail.bestpage.com?

Well I've got one for you all. Suddenly, and randomly, several DNS
entries are being erased. In short, one day they are there, the next
day they are not.
Here is an example
bestpage.com 216.115.245.147
mail.bestpage.com 216.115.245.147
216.115.245.147/24 mail.bestpage.com
216.115.245.147/24 www.bestpage.com
