[cobalt-users] Anitword Anyone??

Hello folks, 
    Has anyone used/had success with AntiWord ( The program to convert MS
Word docs to ascii on Linux)?

    Please let me know your successes/failures using the package on Cobalt
servers.

These are some things I'd like to know:

- How well does it convert .doc files to ascii text intended for database
import?
- Are there any gotchas in compiling the program on a cobalt server?
- Is anyone aware of any RPM's for it? If so, could you post the URL?
