Hello,
Give it to 'em Lennie, we as customers are getting screwed! Especially those
of us who are new to Linux. For a "reputable" comapny not to support
updates, upgrades and especially security fixes for their proprietary
software is ridiculous. Its a wonder that they are still in business, much
less managed to acquire such a following.

Dear Cobalt,
In view of the recent problems associated with your previous
updates, I for one..... Am really afraid to install any of your
updates for fear of destroying "Live Operation" of my RAQ3.
Speaking for my self (though I think others will agree) your support
team (when telephoned) always advises it will cost me $$$ to fix
problems associated with an update I installed as your
release..... This isn't intended to insult Cobalt, It's called
something I learned about Snow Skiing "Fear Factor".. Many
years ago...
I believe what I (and others) need to know is:
When an update blows up our "Boxes" Who is going to be
there to fix the problem ASAP..... It's sad to know that we
have to investigate and find fixes on our own in times of
"Panic"... Do you know how many phone calls we get
when our sites go down ? When a user can't FTP ?
Im sure your receive lots of calls too ! Please remember....
I'm the guy that purchases your product.. And wan'ts to be your
customer... What now ? Even talk of the sale of your company and
possibility of changing the OS ?
I'd say, Cheers, but right now I can't muster any up for Cobalt.
Regards, Lennie Core
