Majordomo lists are managed entirely by email. For more information,
see the copy of "list-owner-info" that's supposed to be supplied with
every installation of Majordomo. Though it should have been supplied on
the RaQ (here's an aside to Cobalt: it's in the source directory of the
default installation, and your license to distribute majordomo requires
you to distribute the source directory upon request), it wasn't.
So I've just put a copy of the one I use as a template into
ftp://nobaloney.net; you can get it by anonymous ftp; it's called
"sample-list-owner-info".

Sorry, Simon; the reason I don't know much about IMP is because
currently I use Mailtraq for webmail. Mailtraq runs on Windows NT and
Windows 2000 servers and includes SMTP, POP, a proxying firewall, and
WebMail. It's not cheap, but since I'm the Western hemisphere
distributor, the price to me is right <smile>.
However, I should be installing IMP shortly for a remote-control
solution (I don't run W2K or WinNT remotely), so I'll learn a bit soon I
guess.
