Taken out of context, as you have, you'd be right, right, right. You are
clearly not in favour of "top-posting" but others including myself are. Who
decides what is good netiquette? Was it not someone's personal preference
originally that got adopted as the norm? There are arguments for
"top-posting" and for not. Don't let it bother you, it's not worth worrying
about simply because you like to read the last mail first and I like to read
the new mail first and if I need the old stuff I'll scroll down.

and this sort of tone doesn't endear yourself to me.
Just a minor point (and I'm just picking here), but if you are "top-posting"
you are by definition replying to a mail and the chances are therefore
pretty high that you are in fact offering advice and help and not seeking.

It annoys me when people don't sign their mails, isn't that just an issue of
common courtesy and etiquette?
