[cobalt-users] Pop lock files

Hi,

I have a RaQ2 that has the latest updates, the qpopper patch and the latest 
Pop-before-Relay.

I have only an occasional problem with lock files sticking around and 
causing mail problems...but I think I'm narrowing the occurrences down to 
when I'm working in the admin interface. ei: adding users, setting up DNS etc.

The only way I've found to fix the problem so far is a full reboot of the 
server. Removing the .lock files does not work as another is created and 
hangs as soon as someone checks mail. I also remove .pop files and this 
does not help.

I know this seems to be a problem that started with the newest patches, but 
it was an occasional problem I had even before, though then, just removing 
lock files was all it took to fix...not a full reboot.

Is there some service I can restart/kick that will fix this problem without 
having to reboot the whole server?  If so, what are the full commands?

*grin...if this problem hadn't started so recently, I would have jumped in 
with an uptime brag of several months...but...oh well..:)
