but I never could get MySQL-bench to install it keeps complaining that DBI is
not installed.
It must have something to do with the path. Maybe I need a symlink or something.
I know someone wrote installation instructions, but I could not find them.

The other problem I have is the password for root.
When I try to set the password "mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
I get "error: 'Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' Using password: NO)
Also, most mysqladmin commands get the same response.

I installed MySQL-3.22.32-1.i386.rpm, MySQL-client-3.22.32-1.i386.rpm,
MySQL-devel-3.22.32-1.i386.rpm. as root. And tried to run mysql_install_db, then
tried to set the password. I should also mention that I installed the rpms and
uninstalled then and installed them again. Command files are in /usr/bin.
Any suggestions is appreciated.
