You can do QoS on the 2924 if you want, based on protocol, port, etc.

You can also break up the switch into VLANs as well, regardless of having a
router.

The Samsung switch I mentioned earlier (made by D-Link) is supposed to be
able to do QoS and VLANs as well as trunking, but I haven't been able to
figure out *how* on the one that I've got.  Which is why I prefer the Cisco
IOS.
