It is intentional, and they are driving the last nails in their coffin
thereby.
The broad ignorant mass of web users could give a ripe rabbit fart about
some stringent coding standard set by a handful of unkempt geeks in a
Stockholm Holiday Inn back in 1997. They just want to see a page. Even if
that page is some mangled and bloated abortion popped out of a Word save-as,
they just want to see it displayed.
Lowest common denominator rules. Way it is.
