Zeffie, it's quite common when dealing in customer support to contact
someone who's having a problem and to offer to help them personally.
Sure I'd expect a Cobalt rep to offer to help personally. It sounds
like a sincere interest in helping to me.

Only an extremely small percentage of Cobalt users are complaining about
Cobalt Tech Support on this list. I'm sure that Cobalt tech support has
problem, I've come up against them myself. But I don't think they're
any worse than lots of other companies. When was the last time you get
any level of free tech support from a Microsoft phone number?

Did it really sound to you like he had a chip on his shoulder? It
didn't to me.

I wholeheartedly agree. But I've gotten used to ignoring it.
