Hi Graeme.  That's might be true, but it's not the problem I'm having.
For example when replying to this message and sending my Double Post
message that got double-posted, I used pine.  Here's what pine asks me
with how I repsonded.

Include original message in Reply?
Y
Use "Reply-To:" address instead of "From:" address?
Y

And here's what the headers at the top of my screen look like:

To      : cobalt-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Cc      : 
Attchmnt: 
Subject : Re: [cobalt-users] Double Posts

So in my case it's something other than the problem you suggested.  I
sepculate that it's a problem on Cobalt's side.  Whether it's a problem
with their mailing list software (Mailman) or something else, I don't
know.  But it's something that Cobalt should look into.
