RE: [cobalt-users] RaQ3i Email Problem

Hi Hui!

Welcome to the RaQ world...

Does your Client's web site come up when you use your web browser to view
it, or is he just getting an email address that's part of your domain?

Is his domain in the "Relay for the following Hosts/Domains" table in your
Email Preferences? (That's located under Control Panel), along with DNS and
other servers.

As for adding an email alias...You can do that when you add a user. There's
a box, 'Email Aliases' where you can add other names for an account on your
system. Or, to edit an existing user's email aliases, you can click the blue
button with a picture of an envelope on it in the User List for a site.

For instance, I may have an account called 'Dee', which would get any email
to Dee@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx However, I might also want any email for
webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx to go into this email box.
So, under the aliases, I'd add webmaster and admin.

But, adding Sys as an alias for your admin account probably won't solve the
user's email problem, I'm guessing. It just means mail sent to
sys@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx will reach you.

I hope this helps...

-Dee Dreslough (dee@xxxxxxxxxxxxx)
