I spoke with Richard Slisinger on Friday; he and I go way back. He's
assured me that yes, support has gotten a lot better. For best prices,
I'd email him at <rich@xxxxxxxx>; he's okayed putting his email on this
list. He and I did NOT talk pricing, because their prices to ISPs are
under strict disclosure and if we did, I couldn't say anything anyway.
Be prepared for a good price, though.
(He and I did talk about the plan I've got vs the plan sold in general
to ISPs, and yes, we both agree that the plan I've got is good for
no-commitment to small-commitment reselling; since we don't specialize
in hosting, we don't sell enough to want to become an ISP reseller.)

Although it may seem I do plug myself at every opportunity, a quick
check of my posts (made just now) shows me I really don't. And I really
did write my original reply specifically because I thought I could help
some small resellers who want a good deal on just a few Miva customers;
not all of us want to make huge commitments. Given the choice of
spending $xxx (sorry, under nondisclosure) per Miva site, with a large
minimum number, or $10/month Miva site, at least a few of us would
select the latter. At least so I thought.
And though we all provide some form of hosting or consulting service
(and yes, I've actually bought others' services off this list and will
do so again), how many of us have built a specialty business of cobalt
consulting? And don't put it into our signature lines <grin>?

I don't think there's any information anywhere that would indicate that
you can get Miva on a monthly basis. But maybe there is.
And of course, you could easily argue that any Miva reseller can do it.
Don't know if it matters or not to our respect for each other (and I do
sincerely respect you), but I don't make a penny on the $10/month/Miva.
I just pass it on.
In any event, it's not my intention to make enemies on this or any other
list; I apologize for stepping on your toes, or on anyone else's.
