Not in this case. This was a client's system running on a dedicated T-1

Two things you bring up...
I'm going to believe you that DSL isn't synchronous; I always thought it
was. Do you know for certain that sDSL is NOT synchronous? If so,
you've saved me some money in switching from hubs to switches at home;
the purpose of going to switches was to get synchronous data transfer.
The other thing... It's possible that the network where the machine is
located is running on hubs and not switches. I'll look into this.

I have, too, but I've always been able to restart it. This wouldn't
restart. Or in some cases it would, but then stop again. I've never
had that problem under any other circumstance.
Anyone with information on this "known" bug?
