We recently sent 17,000 emails from one of our RaQ3 systems (no not
spam). The outgoing messages kept plodding along, but sendmail stopped
accepting incoming mail <frown>.
The answers I got to questions I asked on mailhelp and here indicate
that people think it's a "high-usage" issue, but no one had a definitive
answer. So we've opened a case (gone to second level already) with
Cobalt tech support. If they can't get anywhere, we'll eventually go to
Sendmail and by per-incident support, I suppose.
