Isn't that what you want? Didn't you just write that you set up a
virtual site at hostname "www" and domain name "webdesign.uhoo.de"?

If you do that, that's what you get. It works for either
"http://webdesign.uhoo.de/"; or for "http://www.webdesign.uhoo.de/";.

With a site with hostname "webdesign" and a domain name "uhoo.de", you'd
get what you want when your users type in "http://webdesign.uhoo.de";.
What do they then get when they type in "http://www.webdesign.uhoo.de/";
(as many of them will)? What do you want them to get?

That's because you've already got a site set for receiving mail and
hosting websites for "uhoo.de". As it should be.

So I guess my question is WHAT DO YOU WANT?

The behavior you report as incorrect seems to be what you want, the way
I look at your question.
