[cobalt-users] subdomains and nameserver

Hello,
I have big trouble with subdomains and the nameserver on my Cobalt
RaQ3 (all actual patches, including the All Kernel 1.1 patch, are
installed).
What do I have to do if I want to have a completely independent
subdomain 'webdesign.uhoo.de'? With independent I mean independent web
accounts, site settings, e-mail accounts, and so on.
Am I right that I have to add a virtual site with the hostname 'www'
and the domain name 'webdesign.uhoo.de'? And that I have to add
'www.webdesign.uhoo.de -> A Record -> IP Address of Virtual Site' and
'webdesign.uhoo.de -> A Record -> IP Address of Virtual Site' to the
nameserver? I did this.
When I open http://www.webdesign.uhoo.de, it works. However, when I
open http://webdesign.uhoo.de (without 'www'), I am being redirected
to http:://www.webdesign.uhoo.de (with 'www').
At the moment, I 'solved' the problem by adding a virtual site with
the hostname 'webdesign' and the domain name 'uhoo.de' and by turning
off e-mail and web access (I had to do this because otherwise the RaQ
wouödn't let be create the site).
What can I do? Any help is greatly appreciated as I am a completely
newbie :-)
Thanks,
Florian
