[cobalt-users] Qube 2 Software Update 3.0

Hi all,

Just installed the Update yesterday.  It came out clean, except for one
thing... evidently the Samba permissions got corrupted, kicking all Windows
users (around here, that's everyone) out of the directories to which they
formerly had access as part of a group.  The one directory to which everyone
still has access is each user's personal directory.

Cobalt support says that engineering is familiar with the bug and is working
on a fix.  In the meantime, I would advise anyone with a Qube supporting
Windows users to hold off on installing this update... unless you can beat
Cobalt engineering to the punch.

If anyone has an idea as to how to resolve this, input would be appreciated.
