Re: [cobalt-users] Make this list better [was Re: OFF-TOPIC...]

There we are, then. Rather than re-invent the wheel, I vote we just use this
site as our starting point (with your permission, of course). Steven, David,
Jimmy - let's do this thing. We are all too busy, but we manage to find time
to read the same 100+ messages asking the same questions over and over day
in and day out. The time we consume by compiling the useful stuff into a
decent FAQ will be saved by not reading/answering the same stuff over and
over.

I'll tell you all right now (as if I had to) that I'm a relative newbie so
my info may be weak but I'm damn good at organizing stuff. I'll be happy to
help with the grunt work of laying out the information once we agree on what
needs collected.

Face it, the Cobalts are good boxes. They just have lousy tech support and a
few bugs that need worked out. This list is the best source of tech support
for the Cobalt servers so rather than bitch about what Cobalt is or isn't
doing right, let's just do it ourselves. As a group, we are better qualified
and able to do it anyway.
