Re: [cobalt-users] Make this list better [was Re: OFF-TOPIC...]

Gentlemen:

I'm sure I wasn't the only one who has suggested this before, but I still
think it's a great idea. We all have web servers, so *who* actually hosts it
isn't a really tough call. I'll be happy to donate the server space if
nobody else wants to. I just checked and cobalthelp.org is available,
although I am sure someone else can come up with a better name. I'll be
happy to register the domain name and host it at my own expense once we have
a consensus on how to proceed.

I will go with the group on this (even if the group is only 3 or 4 of us),
but I'd like to see the archives picked over for the most juicy and relevant
information and compile that into a FAQ on a server by server (Qube, Raq2,
Raq3, etc) basis. Then, set up a decent index pointing to all other
resources that we are aware of and put up a good FTP site with all the PKGs
and other goodies we accumulate for these things. Maybe even a mailing list
of our own with a little tighter control over content and format?

Count me in. Anyone else want to put their money (and/or time) where there
virtual mouth is?
