OK.. so in my case, running 1.3 Webalizer, I have only 40 or so domains on
the raq, mine is the only one getting major traffic (in comparison to the
others) I've for the logrotate.d/home set now to:
/home/sites/home/logs/web.log {
missingok
compress
size 30M
The other sitex have never been modified from the original size 2M I have
to go look at them all and make adjustments. Made some executive decisions
on increasing the web.log size rotate, based on the last time the log had
been rotated out and I'll make those adjustments now.
and logrotate.conf set to:
# rotate log files weekly
weekly
# keep 4 weeks worth of backlogs
rotate 4
# create new (empty) log files after rotating old ones
create
# uncomment this if you want your log files compressed
compress
I now see webalizer.current in each of the stats directories.. so I'm
thinking as long as I have the logrotate.d/sitex file set high enough, I
should now start getting proper stats.. I guess time will tell now :)
This is gonna be great.. one less thing in the anals of my brain to worry
about :)
