[cobalt-users] HostLookups, Webalizer & Logrotate, WOW!!!

David and Steven..

Wow I can't thank you guys enough. I didn't even have a chance to do any investigation and bingo there you guys are with solid answers..

I just did the change.. using David suggestions, adding the -p switch.

      `webalizer -p -n $asite -s $asite -r $asite -q -T -o $thepath

and now I realize that the executable is called here I didn't see that before...

Actually I just looked again at the webalizer.conf file and the option for incremental is in there, turned it on..

I also changed the httpd.conf file and restarted apache.. I suppose it will take some time for that to generate some DNS lookup info?

So where exactly will I find this file.. I do see in /var/cobalt/ there is a dns.log file created in Jan with zero bytes.. matter of fact there is a ton of logs in there with zero bytes..

The only one there with any content is sauce.log, dated May 1st and looks like the html from the GUI on a day when the whole pup locked solid from a mail loop and they had to kick it.. hard.. I think that was the date that happened

Anyway.. I guess I have to wait till over night to see what I get here.. and OH.. BTW.. I still never got anyone to send me the /etc/logrotate.d/analog :)

Thanks again...

Regards,
Debbie ^v^ ///\o/\\\ ^v^
