Hi Folks,
I've had two RAQ2 hard drives crash on me since first getting my server in
January. As a result of the loss of data/time/money, I am looking into
ways in which I can have my RAQ2 hard drive backed up on a regular basis.
I am told mirroring drives in not possible... Can anyone recommend a
really good (time/cost effective) back up solution? I still somewhat new
to server admin and am not yet comfortable performing complicated tasks in
UNIX (simple stuff I am ok with).
I've heard the name "Legato" brought up, but after visiting their site, I
have no idea exactly what their software does, how much it costs, and
exactly which package I might need...if I need something like that at all.
So, if any of you have advice and information as to how I can make
reliable/complete backups of my drive, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!
Sincerely,
