[cobalt-users] Accessing Site By Host Name

I have created a site named www.domain.com and one named web.domain.com.
For some reason I can not get to web.domain.com. I also have
web.domain.com set up to give Web access by domain. So, when a user simply
accesses domain.com the URL resolves out to web.domain.com and I get the
following error message:
Socket Error - Host name lookup for 'web.domain.com' failed
www.domain.com does work properly ... the web.domain.com continues to not
allow me to connect. This is the first time that I have tried to set up an
alternate host name for a domain that was already working properly under
another host name.
Am I missing something? Is this a DNS entry related problem?
(oh by the way there is also a c-name entry for this domain in my ISP's DNS
pointing forums.domain.com to www.anothersite.com --- if that makes any
difference).
