Actually, it depends on what your downloading, Executable file and   
multimedia files work fine in Binary mode, but if you use BInary mode   
with a CGI Script you'll never get it working, so it depends on what type   
of file your working with, most FTP clients have an Auto mode you can use   
if in doubt, I still recomend the manual setting but if all else fails   
auto mode should work

Hmmm... IMHO (I don't own a RaQ3 yet, it's been ordered and will
arrive soon) you should download and upload it in binary mode. Anyone
else can confirm this?
