Sorry for the OT question, but I ran into a problem trying to restore my
Qube2. I downloaded Tulip.c on a Win4 machine and put it on a floppy. I had
Red Hat running on another machine. I mounted the floppy and read the file off
of the floppy to do a compile. Every time I copied the from the floppy the
file was corrupted (characters changed) when I tried the compile. I used the
zip drive to transfer the file and it worked OK. Thinking it might be
hardware, I pulled out the Red Hat hard disk and put in my window 2K hard
disk. I then checked the floppy disk and ran chkdsk on it and everything was
OK. I even tried formatting it on Red Hat first. I am a newbie to Red Hat and
Linux. Can anyone give me some hints as to what is the problem or where I can
go to find out? I'd kinda like to be able to use the floppy when using Red
Hat.
Thanks, Mike.
