you *CAN* log in as root via SSH. that's just an observation :)
anyway. i am curious about one security related Q. is it supposed to
be that way:
 i telnet into my RaQ3
 log in as user
 OK
 i do su admin
 OK
 i do su
 Not OK

 i telnet into my RaQ3
 log in as admin
 OK
 i do su
 OK

is there something wrong or smthn?
