Could be lots of reasons. Everything this list does can be done on
Majordomo. I currently run the Cobalt Qube Users list on Majordomo on a
RaQ. While I don't yet store html archives, that's only because I've
been too busy to set it up. It's eminently doable. In fact we run lots
of mailing lists for customers under Majordomo.

Not sure I understand. You CAN check and send email while telnetted (or
sshed) into your Cobalt system. Is that what you mean?
