I am Jeff. There are also two other "Jeff"s on this list who work for
Cobalt, and a few others as well, at least one of whom writes under a
different name (you know who you are <smile>).
I am most likely the Jeff referred to. I run a consultancy
spepecializing in Cobalt systems.
And yes, depending on what rev level your cobalt system runs at I could
probably break into it in less than an hour. However, I don't think I
ever offered to do it for $100.
There are a lot of issues involved in breaking into a system. Not the
least of which is determining that it's really yours to break in to.
Since it took me two days to get this email, by now I certainly hope
you've driven the 12 hours or had your colo company reset your master
password; they can prove who you are in relationship to your system a
lot more easily than I can.
