You take this way too personally. Maybe in your case the exception was
justified, however, way too many people on this list do not care about the
format of the reply, thus decreasing the overall value of a thead.

Ultimately no one will remember which line was written by who, however, it
is important that someone browsing the archives can understand the thought
process that leads to the answer of his question.
