Brent,

I'm agreeing with you, not disagreeing. You don't feel they have an OC-192 connection to the Internet and neither to do I. I'm sure they are in your same boat (the one foot of OC-48 you have), they probably have one or two feet of OC-192 and that's enough for them to post that on their site or so they feel. Who knows? I was just stating what I know them to have for certain, the multiple DS-3's. (Which again I say, you aren't or weren't disputing.)

The OC-192 link I was referring too in my last email was an internal city network that you wouldn't be able to test. If that's what they are referring too, it's a bad point on their end, very limited market. Just the good folks here in Cumberland County, NC and not an Internet connection. But, I have no idea what the OC-192 connection is and when I was there several months back, no one said anything to us (they normally do) about it. Funny too, it's not like you can order a connection like that overnight. Again, email Charles VanSickle at charles@xxxxxxxxxxxxx for more information for anyone that's curious.

I agree, they post that to attract resellers and it probably works. They do have a lot of bandwidth in my mind and I'm not certain what their current bandwidth saturation level is. Needless to say, the OC-192 posted on the site is probably over-rated marketing hype and hoopla.

As a co-lo for my Cobalt RaQ2, they are great. Fast, Cheap and Local. I think the local appeal was my number one reason I chose them. I want access to my box...for whatever reason. With AIT in my same city I get that. Are they the best? Probably not by a long shot but their connections to the net are good and I'm happy with my current setup. No setup fees and the monthly fee is reasonable at $199. Shop around, I'm glad someone asked about them to add them to the list of Cobalt co-lo's. I've seen quite a few posted. The best consumer is an informed consumer.

Thanks again,

Sean Fay

P.S. Again...sorry for the message. Perhaps I should only respond from home.
