[cobalt-users] RaQ3i freezes

Hello,

Is anyone aware of a problem with RaQ3i servers freezing?

I have installed a RaQ3i server with the following config:

500mb ram
20 gb disk
ChiliSoft ASP




After installing out of the box the server and adding it to our
production network, the server stops responding with no apparent reason,
although the front leds tell that link is present and transmittion and
disk are ok.

If you powerdown the server and restart, the server will not come up,
but if you do a reboot (all through the front panel), the server will
come back to life.

I have installed all patches at Cobalt's site, but can't figure out what
can cause this freeze.


The order followed to install the server was:
1.- Server IP and network config at first boot
2.- Server browser final configuration
3.- OS and Security patches install
4.- ChiliSoft ASP install (working ok)
5.- Sit and wait for the server to freeze. It did.


Server will work fine for about an hour or two (record is 18 hours) and
then will freeze again.

I have another RaQ3i, same config and serving 50 domains with no
problem.

Sounds familiar to someone?
