I use the scheduled backup feature to backup Qube2 config files to a share
on a NT machine ... the required syntax does use both username and password.
You will need to create an appropriate account on the NT machine to allow
access.
The Qube2 Admin GUI for Scheduled Backups requires a "location" and
"password" ... the syntax for "location" is;
user@\\windowspc\share
To do regular scheduled backups of the important stuff (i.e. data) I use
Retrospect Backup for Windows on an NT machine and configure it to backup
the SAMBA shares.
Have a look at;

Don't even think about using the Qube2 Scheduled Backup capability for a
robust reliable backup strategy.
Cheers, Malcolm
