[cobalt-users] Learn a lesson

Well, we had a Raq2 that would not allow any site admin's to create any new
directories. Well, i looked, and could not find anything, so i decided, what
the hell. Call Cobalt, i did, 30 minutes later and my ear half asleep, they
fianlly answered after being on hold that long. I told the tech the problem,
he came in and looked, and said the gorup file looked ok. He then said to
make sure i installed all pkg's, well ,i did. Did not help. So, i made call
#2, and after waiting on hold for 40 minutes, got a different tach, and he
said the problem was that teh group file was edited, and that i was not to
ever  edit it. Ok, i know i did not edit the file, and i know my client did
not edit the file, and the time of the new file, showed the time that the
Cobalt tech had looked at it. The new tech asked me for the name of the
first one, but my mistake was, i did not catch his name. Now, probably
because of a cobalt tech editing a file, we will now probably lose our
Valuable Warranty (Joke there:)  )
    Was problem solved? Nope, the new tech is sending it up to a higher
level. Hmmmm. I was not aware that GOD was on Cobalt's staff, but the y
probably could use his help, i know we could, since we depended on cobalt
for so long, but not anymore. WE are switching soon to a different server.
    Any Flames are not appreciated, but i had to jsut tel lthis small story.
I remember at one time, support was good (Before IPO)
