[cobalt-users] How to set up NAT for Qube 2700?

I've added a second ethernet card to a Qube and need to set it up to do IP Masquerading.

I installed the Cobalt Kernel Upgrade Release 1.0 and it correctly recognized my ethernet card (it used the Cobalt E100 Pro driver). Everything worked fine, except that kernel doesn't support IP Masquerading.

I next upgraded to the All-Kernel_mips-1.0 package. That kernel does provide IP masquerading, but I can't make it recognize my ethernet card.

I grabbed the sources (from ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/experimental/kernel-source-2.0.34C52_SK-2.mips.rpm) and built the kernel and modules. However, as soon as I insert the cobalte100 module, nearly every program core dumps (e.g. shutdown, or cat or ls ...). The same things happens when I compile the cobalte100 driver in.

Can anyone help? Cobalt tech support was worthless ("call professional support"). I just need to know what kernel configuration should work for this.

thanks,
