I leave the first version alone; The RaQ uses it to set up lists.

The second version, mine, I put into /usr/local/majord.

It works fine for lists I add; in fact <qube-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> runs
on it.

Only that since the RaQs use smrsh, you need to call resend something
else in the second version, AND I needed to set up a link to it in the
smrsh directory.

Other than that, no, it runs right out of the box.

Majordomo does NOT use any system resources (except for disk space of
course) when it's not actively processing posts, and the directories are
quite small, so it's not really a drain on system resources to do things
this way.

I'm thinking of creating a package for this, but will probably install
1.94.5 and/or look at mjd2 before I do it.
