I am not really sure, but I think it has to do with the version of sendmail
that runs on the RaQs.
The smtp server will attempt to authenticate the IP of the sender. I have
corrected this problem in some situations by placing an entry in /etc/hosts,
which is a fast lookup for sendmail.
Maybe some one else can expand on this.
