Sure. You need reverse DNS to resolve to something. Even if you've got
DNS running on your RaQ and you've got reverse DNS set up, it doesn't
mean you've got authority for it.

Perhaps because they DO have reverse DNS set up for them? Or perhaps
because NT software doesn't care or check first?
I had exactly the same problem on my RaQ2 before I set up reverse DNS
for it.
