I am doing some research for my company. We are considering using the RaQ 2
or 3 as our Primary and Secondary Name servers. Along with our Customer's
DNS servers. But I have a few questions that I can't seem to find on the
website. I hope someone out there can help me.
*Note they will only be doing DNS, no web or mail.
1. Can either of these machines be used as a NS server?
2. Which model is recommended and why?
3. How many DNS requests can one handle with out getting lagged?
4. Average machine takes up how much of the internal harddrive?
Model I am looking at is the Base RaQ2 machine 16mb of Ram.
Any comments? Open for suggestions.
