xfs mounts fine in a SuSE 8.x based system, you will even have xfs_repair
and the likes ready, which can be VERY handy to repair damaged filesystems.
Mounting in a RAQ4 didnt work for me with a corrupted raid disk, while the
SuSE machine repaired flawless.
