I've just replaced the original disk (I'd like to keep thisone in case I
need to recover files) with a smaller seagate disk from one of our spare
raq4's and I'm performing a Raq550 OS restore on it.
It's installing and so far it hasn't been rebooting.
Would it be too early to assume it's a disk problem or is it the OS that
forces a reboot?

The OS is now installed and configured (network, admin) and there are no
problems and it has been running for a lot longer then the reboot periods.
So the problem is with or on the disk right?
As far as I remember, the previous OS on this box didn't do any auto updates
regarding the cobalt patches.
I remember that there was a Kernel patch that made the box reboot again and
again right ?
So now I'm wondering if this could be the problem.
Gerald, you installed your security package on this server 3 or 4 weeks ago
(Sarrcom). Does this install any sun patches automagically ?
I haven't installed those latest kernel patches manually because I wanted to
avoid any probs.
