I'd be inclined to rip the lid off the thing and run it up from cold.
Once it starts to play up carefully check the chips to see which (if
any) are getting hot that quickly.
I don't know (havn't taken alot of notice) about the heat sensors in
them but it could also just be a faulty sensor that's playing up.
Depending on how component level you want to take it.
I assume it doesn't actually get up to loading the os?
