Somewhat tangentially, I've never had *any* success connnecting to the
serial port with either RAQ's or (and in particular) my little Qube2.
It's as if the serial port is decoration...not once have I ever been
able to establish a working session. Annoying, since when I've wanted
to do as you advocated above it's proven to be totally imposssible.

In other news, I bought a Shuttle last week and installed FreeBSD on
the thing. Quiet, *loaded* with goodies, tiny yet powerful - Intel
hyperthreading CPU, 2GB RAM...hoogah! (it likes my Qube, I think they
may reproduce). I sure do like this little 'fella.
