Re: [cobalt-users] SolarSpeed AV-Suite not vulnerable to recent exploit

Jeff Please!

<joking with jeff>
I live in an area where it's common to have large shovels for snow
removal... I think it's safe to say that not everybody around the world has
the same abilitly to deal with all this if you don't include the shovel! :)

really? hey jeff you might look at my site and my prices again.... all
kinds of guis that you could resell and make more money with.. hec, even
put a link to yourself in the gui with... I have decided to allow for some
resellers now as many people have asked... But I will be making one big
rule... "No Spamming the cobalt users list" if you can live with that?
it's up to you..

Well I'm glad to hear that as I have several customers that got the
"mailscanner/etc" combos.. So in a way as the admin of many boxes that
contain it, I to am a customer :) anyway .. it's a pain in my side.... oh
I'll just say it..it's a pain in the ass.. I have several servers that have
major load problems due to the config... and I should say that many are
RaQ3's the need to be faster then they are.

We have a new term in the office.. "solar replacement" which simply means
"do an install on a solarspeed system" and this is not a happy thing around
here. While it is possible to update a system it would appear solarspeed is
taking some libertys and clobering files that he shouldn't like the menus
and init files... so uninstalling it breaks the menus/sendmail etc... no
biggie.. we just fix it... but it's a pain in my side :)

the .60 has it's own flaws (it's old, slow, and the milter bug). the .65 is
very fast and even includes an updated freshclam daemon.. it's a great
system... .66 will be out today or maybe tommorow since sourceforge is doing
some update... and at that time I'll make all new stuff and update all my
customers for free... :). In fact.. since you want announcements here
maybe I should get back to my work.. I have a few packages to get out..
