Someplace on the Cobalt site it explains that packages must be installed in
numerical order. As installing an older package over a newer package will
rewrite your files to the older version. Also, the newer version (higher number)
depends on the older version being present. I think with Versions numbered >= 3,
the newer version includes the older versions. It is a little confusing because
sometimes the GUI shows both the older and newer version, and sometimes it only
shows the older version. There are other exceptions also, i.e. I installed
security 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, well by the time I arrived at 1.4, I read hat it
included 1.1, 1.2, 1,3, so when I installed 1.4, 1.1,1.2,1.3, disappeared from
the GUI. My RaQ2 looks like this:
All-Kernel_mips Release 1.0
Cobalt OS Release 4.0
RaQ2-Security Release 1.4
RaQ2-Security Release 2.0
RaQ2-Security Release 2.1
RaQ2-Security Release 2.2
RaQ2-Security Release 2.3
RaQ2-Security Release 2.7
RaQ2-Security Release 2.8
RaQ2-Security Release 2.9
RaQ2-Security Release 2.91
RaQ2-Security Release 2.92
RaQ2-Security Release 2.93
RaQ2-Security Release 2.94
RaQ2-Update-MFG Release 2.1
RaQ2-Update-OS Release 2.0
