[cobalt-users] [raq2] RaQ2-Update-OS-*.pkg installer probelms

Okay, so I was installing security/update packages today...

I noticed I didn't have RaQ2-Update-OS-1.0.pkg installed. But I did have
RaQ2-Update-OS-2.0.pkg installed.

So I installed it. The GUI showed both 1.0 and 2.0 installed.

But I was looking at the RPMs it installed. It overwrote newer RPMs with
older ones. this is *bad*. dumb installer, dumb.

anyway, i managed to go to /var/lib/cobalt and remove the file that made the
raq think 2.0 was installed, and then reinstalled 2.0.

The GUI now shows 2.0 installed, but not 1.0. (Oy!)

I was able to install All-Kernel_mips Release 1.0 now, which is nice.
