Soon after getting my RaQ2, I noticed the virtusertable was full of a
lot of "weird" stuff you'd never find in one you created yourself.

So I spent some time doing an analysis.

Before I begin, let me stress that I did this analysis for myself, that
it's a cursory analysis, and that no warranty as to its correctness is
expressed or implied <smile>.

When you set up a "virtual site" on the RaQ2 or 3 (don't know about the
original RaQ or the Qubes), the web-based gui interface sets up the RaQ
to accept mail for the domain as you set it up, including
"hostname.domain.com". When you check "Accept Email for Domain" the RaQ
adds code to map addresses from <username@xxxxxxxxxx> to
<username@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>. Weird. Decidedlly nonstandard. But it
works.
