[cobalt-users] TELNET IS STILL DOWN!

Sorry to raise this issue. I'm reposting the following message that I just sent off to Cobalt support via their web page. We've had no response from them on this issue and I'm hoping that one of their managers will see it here and contact us. Needless to say we starting to worry about their ability to provide technical support.

-------------------------------

We have tried multiple times to contact you via the Email page, The Mailing Lists, and via Telephone and have had only one response that DID NOT address the issue. This is issue has been open for about a week with no positive response from Colbalt.

Two other RAQ3 customers have contacted us with the SAME problem asking if we've been able to resolve it. Clearly this is an issue that is effecting more than just one customer. Clearly this is an issue with the RAQ3 configuration. I'm asking that this be escalated as it creates a severe handicap to operations. Many of the fixes in the knowledge base presuppose telnet access to perform.

To recap the problem: We no longer have telnet access to our box. Here is a log of a sample session:

Cobalt Linux release 5.0 (Pacifica)
Kernel 2.2.12C3 on an i586

Yes, the password is correct. We still can use the control panel and FTP to access the site.
