[cobalt-users] Added a new alias in the GUI and suddenly all emails sent to server bounce PLEASE HELP

I just added a new alias to an email address in the GUI, saved it and
suddenly all emails sent to any virtual host in the server bounce.

I get the following error:

   ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<user@xxxxxxxxxx>

   ----- Transcript of session follows -----
554 MX list for domain.com. points back to mail.my.isp
554 <user@xxxxxxxxxx>... Local configuration error

I suspect I have gotten a corrupted MX table. How can I fis it)
